Guacamole

Guacamole is an avocado-based dip from Mexico. It combines well with crisps, toasted bread or even meat. Try out this uncomplicated snack for quick breaks.

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 2x ripe avocados

  • 2x shallots

  • 6x ripe cherry tomatoes

  • 1x lemon

  • 1x baguette or crisps

  • tabasco

  • olive oil

Preparation:

Peel the shallots and cut them into little cubes. Peel the avocados, remove the stone and scoop its flesh into a bowl, then start mashing it. Cut the tomatoes into little pieces. Add the chopped shallots, tomatoes and some olive oil to the avocado. Start mashing again until it is fine and well combined. Add the juice from a fresh lemon and season with salt, pepper and some tabasco. Serve with toasted baguette or crisps and enjoy!
