Couscous salad


Something healthy from the North-African kitchen: Couscous! Let's prepare a fresh salad with vegetables and these yummy beads made out of durum wheat.

Ingredients (8 servings):

  • 250g of mushrooms

  • 500g of couscous

  • 1x lettuce

  • 1x pepper

  • 1x tomato

  • 1x cucumber

  • ½x bunch of spring onions

  • oregano

Preparation: First, wash and chop mushrooms, lettuce, pepper, tomato, cucumber and spring onions, then place them in a bowl. Put 500g of couscous in another bowl with 500ml of boiling water and let it soak for eight minutes. As soon as the couscous is ready, add in the vegetables and give it a stir until everything is well combined. Season with oregano, serve and enjoy!
