Noodles with pesto


Green, super delicious and a hunger killer! Invented in 1863 basil pesto is now one of the most popular dishes worldwide. Combined with pasta it unfolds its full flavour. Quick and easy to prepare this dish is a true ''must-eat''.

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 100g of penne

  • 15g of parmesan cheese

  • 1x bunch of basil

  • ½x tablespoon of pine nuts

  • ¼x glove of garlic

  • olive oil

  • pepper

Preparation:

To make the pesto, chop the garlic. Then wash, dry and mash the basil.Mix the garlic, basil and some salt. Add olive oil, parmesan cheese, pepper and pine nuts until you receive a pasty and liquid consistency. In case it's too thick, add some hot water.

For the noodles, boil a sufficient amount of water. Once it's simmering, add in the noodles and cook them until they are firm to the bite. Put them in a sieve and mix the noodles with the pesto.

Serve with some fresh grounded parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
